Cão Amarelo 2008 has as its main goal artistic exchange and promotion of contemporary alternative cinema, promotion of European film schools and new tendencies of cinema art, integration of visual arts with the other forms of artistic expression, promotion of local cultural identity and local artists in the European artistic spaces.

Flávio Andrade nasceu e reside no Pinhal Novo desde 1964. Fotógrafo, fotojornalista freelancer, formador de cursos de fotografia e professor de fotografia na Universidade Católica Portuguesa.

Tem como objectivos principais permitir o diálogo com o artista e a sua obra, saber o que o motiva e o que este experimenta no seu processo criativo, bem como identificar as especificidades e características do seu universo imaginário e artístico.

This is a meeting with the special artist. Becoming from perception of our eyes and cognitive representation we try to discover his personal word, identify main characteristics of his artistic technique and enter to the specific language of plastic art. In process of creation and through various forms of personal and collective expressions start a dialog between our inside and his word. The methodology of this project is based on Program 1 Olhar developed by Fundacao Gulbenkian and Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Argumentation and comparation, discussion and empirical experimentation are the main tasks of educational process.
